The offer of DIP-SWITCH type switches at TME has expanded by over 100 new items thanks to the well-known and appreciated manufacturer by our customers – the brand ONPOW. This Asian supplier of electromechanical components specializes mainly in switches and buttons. We have added a total of 134 items to the offer, the most important features of which are described below.
The switches come with two types of leads for PCB mounting: SMT and THT. They use a popular 2.54mm lead pitch. The number of sections ranges from 1 to 12, which allows selecting a product for a specific application. The slider in each section is characterized by an OFF-ON switching method and has two stable positions. Sliders are available in a flat version (flush with the front surface) or protruding, as well as in a “piano” format (long and short “key”). All of the switches are intended for operation in DC circuits (contact rating up to 25mA at 24V DC).

The main tasks of DIP-SWITCH type switches are initial device setting, mode selection, calibration (e.g., measurement ranges), and sometimes reset to factory settings. Such elements can be found in PLC controllers, on mainboards of computers and microprocessor (microcontroller) systems, alarm panels, etc.
