14 June 2018 – Leading supplier of laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment, MBA Engineering, has announced a rapid increase in growth over the past year, following an influx of machine sales.
The Yorkshire-based fibre laser specialist reported a turnover of £1.4 million for 2017/18, an increase of 94% compared to the previous year – meaning the company has almost doubled its turnover in the last 12 months alone.
This unprecedented growth is partly thanks to MBA Engineering’s exclusive partnership with Polish fibre laser manufacturer, Kimla. With more manufacturers recognising the superiority of Kimla’s technology, MBA Engineering’s client base has grown considerably.
MBA Engineering recently replaced two CO2 machines with one Kimla fibre laser for Cook Compression, a Cheshire-based compressor solutions supplier – an investment which saw the company’s capacity increase by 30%. Following this, MBA Engineering supplied an additional Kimla machine to OVH, a French server manufacturer, after the company experienced unprecedented results with its original Kimla machine.
The impressive growth has sparked ambitious plans to invest and expand its machine moving service. MBA Engineering has already set the wheels in motion with the addition of a highly experienced technician to develop and manage this section of the business as the company strives to continue this level of growth in the future.
Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Engineering, said: “Reflecting on the development of MBA Engineering over the past year feels like a great achievement with our 94% growth, which is thanks to the commitment and hard work of the MBA Engineering team. We are dedicated to the Kimla brand and spreading awareness of the advantages it has to offer is one of our priorities, alongside providing the best customer service in the industry.
“The growth of the company has allowed us to expand our team and develop specific aspects of the business, such as the machine installations, which is a key area we’d like to develop moving forward.”
