VNU Rapid News Co. Ltd announce further expansion of TCT portfolio in China with exciting new TCT Shenzhen event scheduled for October 2019.

Shanghai, PR China and Chester UK, October 31st 2018 – Building on four editions of the highly successful annual TCT Asia event in Shanghai, VNU Rapid News Co Ltd is pleased to announce a second location for the TCT brand in China.

TCT Shenzhen will take place October 15-17th 2019 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Shenzhen has developed into an international design and manufacturing powerhouse and the TCT series of events, renowned around the world for showcasing the latest in design-to-manufacturing innovation technologies, will be perfectly located to serve this unique and fast-growing market.

The TCT portfolio has been at the forefront of additive manufacturing, 3D printing, design and engineering technology for more than twenty years. This unprecedented heritage means that the group is perfectly placed to lead the education process as users across China identify the business benefits of adopting the latest 3D technologies.

Emerging technologies such as additive manufacturing, 3D printing and other 3D technologies are enabling manufacturers to reduce time to market, produce stronger and lighter parts, improve efficiency, reduce waste, cost and emissions, and create products and geometries that could not be created before.

Increased awareness of these real benefits of using advanced manufacturing technologies will encourage more companies to adopt these technologies, which will ultimately improve their ability to compete on the global stage.

Duncan Wood, Chairman of VNU Rapid News Co. Ltd and Chief Executive of Rapid News Publications Ltd, said, “This is the next exciting step for our Joint Venture. Our Shanghai event is now rightly recognized as the leading additive manufacturing and 3D printing event in China and we are now delighted to be building on this platform with a new event in one of the most innovative cities on the planet.
