Kite Packaging launch new Steel Strapping products

Traditionally the strongest form of strapping ideal for the construction industry

Kite Packaging, the UK’s leading packaging supplier has launched a range of highly competitive steel strapping for their online customers – available in the three most popular widths on the market.

Steel strapping is traditionally the strongest form of strapping ideal for securing heavy loads, handling items needing high tensile strength security and strapping sharp or irregular shaped loads – commonly used within the building and export industries.

Kite has launched a range of new tools and accessories to use with steel strapping – supplying some of the best in the market.

The first of the new tools, a tensioning tool, achieves efficiency when adding the required tension to strapping, ensuring it remains tight and secure around the product or pallet.

Kite has also introduced a range of hand held sealing tools in widths 13mm, 16mm and 19mm to ensure the secure seal of each size of steel strapping.

Kites new steel strapping safety cutter protects users during the removal of a secured load under tension; it has rubber pads either side to help prevent the steel strapping from springing when cut.

Kite’s range of advanced combi tools carry out the functions of tensioning, sealing and cutting steel strapping in one tool – for added efficiency. No seals are required as the steel crimps to itself for a more effective seal, saving money on purchasing seals.

Finally the ribbon wound steel strapping dispenser trolley allows strapping to be moved quickly, easily and safely around warehouses or dispatch operation.

Managing Partner, Jake Kirk, commented, “As a leading online supplier of industrial packaging products, this is the prefect addition to our range. Steel strapping has been added to our product portfolio primarily because of customer demand and key to our offering is the fact we stock a comprehensive list of strapping and the full range of associated tools”.
