Bruderer UK is set to take its largest ever presence at MACH 2022 next month as it aims to build on a record-breaking start to the year.
The high-speed press specialist has seen demand for its presses grow rapidly from the automotive, aerospace, construction and electrification sectors and is hoping to cement its position as the leading authority in its field by showcasing its latest technology.
Headlining the firm’s 100sq metre stand (20-602) in the MMMA’s Metalworking Village will be the latest BSTA 510-150 B2, which will be fitted with a state-of-the-art 300mm wide precision high-speed servo feeder.
The machine bed will be an impressive 1.5metres wide, allowing for big press tools to be loaded with ease, highlighting the unique capability to achieve 1050 stroke per minutes on complex material of all shapes and sizes.
To provide the most comprehensive display, material decoiling and rewinding systems have been fitted to deliver a fully operational line – ideal for bringing demonstrations to life during the eagerly awaited exhibition.
“MACH has been a long time coming, so we wanted to ensure we make a statement with our stand and the range of technology we will be displaying,” explained Adrian Haller, Managing Director of Bruderer UK.
“At the heart of our presence will be the BSTA 510-150 B2, which is a precision machine that offers superb flexibility and capable of working across a number of different applications, yet always delivering optimum cost-benefit ratio.”
He continued: “It also features integrated safety control and high-quality TFT display with long service life and illumination for good readability even under difficult lighting.”
Bruderer UK’s stand is a completely new design and gives the company lots of space to showcase its diverse range of technologies, including vision systems, material handling, press and tool protection and the latest SMED applications.
There will also be precision press and plastic tooling components, gas springs, multi-bending and forming machines and servo feeding systems in all sizes and speeds.
Adrian concluded: “Industry 4.0 is a major talking point for UK manufacturing and, with this in mind, we’ll be introducing Bruderer’s Shop Floor Connect, a complete solution for automatic data collection for all types of machines.
“This Original Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) solution uses software and machine-mounted interfaces working together to collect production data with little or no operator involvement.
“Key benefits range from increased capacity and profitability by addressing downtime issues quicker to informed decisions relating to capital equipment purchases and being able to quote accurate deliveries based on real-time information. It can really transform the shopfloor.”
Complementing all the latest high-speed press and ancillary technology will be a ten-strong team of Bruderer UK engineers, who will be on hand to talk to visitors about technical issues, bespoke projects and getting the most out of their production facilities.
