Band saw manufacturer, Starrett, will be exhibiting its range of band saw blades and machinery at MACH 2018. The company will host a demonstration of its manufacturing equipment from its dedicated booth, H6-336. MACH 2018 is held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham on April 9 to 13, 2018. Attendees are encouraged to register their attendance in advance on the MACH 2018 website.
Described as the UK’s premier event for engineering and manufacturing technologies, MACH 2018 will welcome over 25,000 visitors across the five-day event. Starrett is one of over 600 exhibitors at the show and will be bringing its technical support team to demonstrate its band saw equipment to attendees.
Starrett’s full range of band saw machines along with some of the blades from their range will be on display at the booth, from industrial-sized semi-automatic models, such as the S4230 and S4240, to the company’s bench top band saw machines and the S1005, the company’s latest, portable model.
Starrett has more than a century of experience in the production of blades for band saws. At the show, Starrett’s technical support and sales team will be at hand to advise how its blades perform against different materials and how their machinery and blades can execute a variety of cuts and shapes. Demonstrations will also be available from the S3720, S1101 and S1105 models.
“Starrett’s history of saw blade manufacture stretches back more than 100 years,” explained Donald Miller, General Sales Manager at Starrett. “Our dedication to trade exhibitions provides our customers with the extra reassurance of testing our machines and blades against their desired materials and ensuring they choose the most appropriate blade for their application.
“In fact, to further support our customers in the South of England, we invested in a demonstration zone and showroom for our band saw machines in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. The base, located on the Newton Trading Estate, means that customers don’t need to travel to our UK headquarters in Jedburgh, Scotland to see a Starrett band saw in action.”
As the UK’s largest industrial showcase, MACH 2018 is spread across halls 6, 7, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the NEC in Birmingham. Entry is free of charge, but attendees are encouraged to register their attendance in advance on the MACH 2018 website.
Starrett’s team will be present at booth H6-336 during the five-day event. If you would like to arrange a meeting with a member of the company’s team to discuss the band saw machines and blades, please contact the team in advance on [email protected].
