RARUK Automation has appointed an additional product specialist, principally to develop the huge interest British manufacturers are showing in its MAFU disentangling and feeding technology. Alec Jackson has joined the Letchworth-based company as Senior Automation Sales Engineer.
Alec has been involved in engineering for more than thirty years as a designer of systems, a manager of projects and latterly in sales. His most recent post was General Manager with a specialist engineering company in the Aylesbury Automation Group.
One of the benefits of MAFU technology is the choice of feeding, separating and transfer elements that are available, enabling the optimal combination to be specified for the application. Alec’s all-round experience in system design and building will be especially helpful in this regard.
MAFU systems are designed to separate hard-to-disentangle bulk goods – such as springs – and transfer them for further processing, regardless of their size, material of manufacture or geometry.
Since RARUK Automation started working with MAFU in 2015, the technology has become an increasingly important part of its product programme. Alec’s appointment is therefore an important step as it provides manufacturers with a dedicated resource within the company.
