Bronte Precision are excited to announce a host of expansions as we celebrate our 15 year anniversary.

New Machine

We have recently acquired a brand new multi-axis CNC axis milling machine for our shop floor. Our New CME FS3 allows Bronte to work on larger components than ever before with a maximum capacity of 2500mm x 1500mm x 1200mm. “Our strategy over the last 5 years has been to stop being a jobbing machine shop and focus on our core strengths which are large sized and complex components. The issue with these parts is that they can quickly tie up machines and we have seen the need to increase our capacity in order to satisfy customer’s demands.” Says Managing Director Steve Leach.

3 New Team Members

Alongside our new machine we have expanded the Bronte family with three new additions including a new apprentice, a new CNC Miller and another addition to our Quality Team. “With the sort of high spec industries we serve such as Oil & Gas and Nuclear, we felt we needed another set of eyes in our Quality department and this will also reduce bottlenecks during production.” Said David Bailey, General Manager.

Reflection of the first 15 Years

Like any business, Bronte has had its ups and downs over the last 15 years and although customers come and go many have been with us throughout our journey. “We always look to establish long term relationships with our customers” says Production Manager Paul Rhodes “Many of the customers we are talking to today, have been working with us over a decade! We recognise that we can only be as successful as our customers, they rely on us and we them.”

Vision For The Future

Although it is nice to reflect on just how far we’ve come as a business, our most exciting days may be ahead of us. “We aim to remain small enough to care, but large enough to cope.” Says Business Development, Oliver Gwynne. “There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to modernise the ways in which we work and bring in best practice. We want to expand our work in the Nuclear, Rail and Oil sectors and we know to do that we must implement best practice. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to do this and it’s a great time to be involved with Bronte Precision.”
