Sensors & Instrumentation Live 2019

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Sensors & Instrumentation Live. The UK’s only dedicated exhibition for test, measurement and control returns to the NEC, Birmingham on 25 and 26 September 2019.

Sensors & Instrumentation Live covers a range of industry sectors, including: sensors, data acquisition equipment, flowmeters, transducers, signal conditioners, strain gauges, thermometers, test instruments, thermal imaging equipment, monitoring equipment, cables, connectors and calibration equipment.

With thousands of visitors looking to source the latest technologies every year, Sensors & Instrumentation Live presents market leading companies from across the test, measurement and control sector together under one roof. Some of the companies already confirmed for the 2019 exhibition include Charcroft Electronics, DEWESoft UK, DSL, Mantracourt Electronics, Techni Measure and Trafag.

Engineering Symposium – Sensing Innovation

To celebrate ten years of Sensors & Instrumentation Live, the exhibition will see the inclusion of some new feature areas. The first to be announced is the Engineering Symposium. In an exciting new partnership, DJB Instruments is working with Sensors & Instrumentation Live to present CPD-accredited training that is driven by sensor innovation and the very latest in engineering. DJB will bring together a team of speakers from some of the UK’s leading technology and engineering companies to present a two day programme which provides a combination of technical training sessions on subjects including: Basics of signal processing; Analysis and control of noise sources in data; Accelerometer technology and other topics. In addition, industry based presentations will describe how innovative sensor technology has been applied in some of the most technologically challenging applications of the modern era.

The Enterprise Hub

Another new feature for 2019 is the Enterprise Hub. The Enterprise Hub will explore the different opportunities that are available to manufacturers. Representatives from key engineering institutions and organisations will give a series of invaluable presentations, giving visitors an insight into topics including training, apprenticeships and standards.

In addition, there will be discussions on funding opportunities that are available to help businesses grow. Attending the Enterprise Hub is free so let the experts provide you with the guidance you need.

Other new features will be announced in due course so keep an eye out for updates in Instrumentation Monthly or on the Sensors & Instrumentation Live website: sensorsandinstrumentationlive.co.uk

Innovation Showcase

Some of the exhibition’s most popular feature areas will be making a return to Sensors & Instrumentation Live 2019. This includes the Innovation Showcase. There is a lot to be seen at the event so the Innovation Showcase provides an assembly of the most cutting-edge products and solutions available from exhibitors. Visitors can get hands-on with devices and make sure they do not miss out on a single thing.

Networking Galore

With the show attracting a highly engaged and focused audience, it serves as the ideal opportunity to strengthen existing business relationships and secure new connections with a range of spaces available for all important networking. And with the 2019 exhibition being colocated with the TCT Show, WNIE Live and IMHX, there will be more opportunities to network than ever before. The one ticket policy for Sensors & Instrumentation Live means that visitors only need to register once to get access to both TCT and WNIE Live.
