The TME catalogue has recently been enriched with a wide selection of power cords from the ESPE brand. These are cables for typical DC applications in areas not covered by European USB-C standardization. They feature old-type (round) plugs and sockets in DC5.5/2.1 and DC5.5/2.5 formats.
In terms of electrical parameters, the cables come in versions for voltages up to 60V DC and support currents up to 5A. The range includes models with lengths of up to 10m.
The presented cables are widely used to power routers, CCTV cameras, switches, or modems, as well as various consumer electronics and RTV devices. They are also used for charging laptops or in LED systems. The ESPE brand offers many versions of its products with different combinations of sockets, plugs, and DC cables, which can be purchased individually for personal needs or as components for production purposes.
It is worth noting that the offer also includes versions with free ends, i.e., with a DC plug on one side and insulated (tinned) cables on the other end. This provides wide mounting possibilities and also allows the use of supplier solutions as spare parts. Other interesting solutions available in the offer include splitters and extensions.
